Support Salal + Cedar

We have had an incredibly successful first year with outdoor worship, a summer camp, children’s curriculum, anti-pipeline organizing, solidarity with indigenous land issues, and a whole lot of love and learning. We are looking forward to an ambitious year ahead with an expanded camp program, more church visits, and growing our own financial sustainability. We ask those who value our ministry to join our work in the ways that fit your budget and values:

make a monthly financial commitment

However small, a regular donation gives us greater security than occasional gifts and allows us to focus on the Gospel-values of our community rather than those of granting organizations.

sponsor a workshop

This is a critical time. With the rise in emboldened public acts of racism and islamophobia since the US election, the escalation at Standing Rock and the approval of the Kinder Morgan expansion pipeline people are looking to Salal + Cedar for skills-building workshops and organizing. To rent space, have supplies and justly compensate facilitators and child-care providers costs money. Please sponsor: an interrupting oppressions workshop $250, a half day non-violent direct action training for people of faith $580, a full day direct action training $850. We also need a good quality pop-up tent shelter $1200.
