We’ve settled on an online meet for this week’s worship. To participate, please contact Brynn at firstname.lastname@example.org and he’ll send you a Zoom link.
To say that no place exists where we can hide from God, is a powerful way of saying, God is everywhere. Which is exactly what Saturday’s lectionary reading, Psalm 139:1-17, says in a variety of beautiful and poetic ways.
But how does God’s omnipresence and omniscience mesh with our modern notions of private property?
Remembering that we reside on the unceded and stolen ancestral territories of this continent’s first peoples, many of whom had and have very different ideas and beliefs about land, property ownership, and relationships to creation in general, please join us online as we read Psalm 139, pray, and mull over questions, contradictions, and inspiration that the psalm may evoke.
