The ancient tradition of pilgrimage is a sacred journey deeply rooted in place. As we seek to love and to belong more fully to these unceded Coast Salish lands, we plan to undertake a pilgrimage from the Salish Sea to the little town of Hope in the mountains.

Much could change before the anticipated date of our pilgrimage, especially with regard to the virus, but for now here’s the plan. We expect to walk 30km daily over eight days, and we’ll be working out how and where we’ll be accommodated overnight. Prayer will be integral to the experience, and both solitude and companionship will be balanced on the way.

If you are feeling a call to participate in this prayerful interruption of daily life, please contact us at salalandcedar@vancouver.anglican.ca. We’ll gladly fill you in on the details as they become clearer. You can also watch our Facebook page for current information as it pertains to the pilgrimage and our other events.
