In June 2021, Salal + Cedar, with the leadership of the Rev Alecia Greenfield, will be undertaking a walking pilgrimage of 8 days, from Kits Beach to Hope.

To prepare for this pilgrimage we are planning Walking Days to explore the route, to practice walking together but separately, and to make sure we are fit and able to walk this way. Maps and logistical plans will be made available to those who express interest in a particular practice day. Each day will begin with a short gathering prayer, and then we’ll travel separately in a walking prayer practice the route planned for that day. Whenever possible, we’ll celebrate in comfort at the end of the day, and Jeff will be on hand with a car, should there be any unforeseen circumstances.
