What’s Happening in January

Special welcome to our new deacon, Elizabeth Mathers, and warm thanks to the Diocesan care+ share ministry which supports our work!

In January there is a special screening of Naomi Klein’s film This Changes Everything. Dinner will by provided by the Syrian chefs of Tayybeh and there will be original art by indigenous artists Grant Tobacco, Ron Victor LaRochelle, Alaro Edzerza and Wayne Nabesh auctioned. All funds raised from this event will support the work of Salal + Cedar.

We continue to be a presence at in opposition to the activities of Kinder Morgan on unceded Coast Salish territory.

Work continues in anticipation of our major conservation project on the north shore this year.
